Keluarga Alkohol
Matahari yang baru saja menampakkan wujudnya di Ufuk Timur,membuat segala aktivitas dimuka bumi terlihat berbeda dari keadaan malam yang sunyi. Embun yang sempat membasahi dedaunan pun hilang seketika. Cahaya pagi yang menyinari secercah harapan akan perubahan kehidupan ayah dari keluarga Alkohol ini. Keluarga besar ini berdomisili dijalan -OH Nomor CnH2n+1OH. Mereka adalah keturunan asli keluarga bangsawan Alkana. Namun demikian kehidupan mereka sangatlah bertentangan dengan gelar keturunan yang mereka sandang selama ini.
Pagi itu terdengar suara pintu yang terbuka dan seorang pria dengan muka merah nya pun masuk,"aku pulang,hei dimana semua orang dirumah ini (sambil berjalan sempoyongan tak karuan). Kemudian pria itu terjatuh dan terlentang pingsan dengan muka merahnya itu. Merahnya muka pria itu bukan karena marah melainkan ia mabuk semalam. "Ayah tidak apa-apa"terdengar suara seorang anak dengan nada khawatirnya berlari mendekati pria itu. "Pentanol,Butanol sini bantu kakak memindahkan ayah kekamar tidurnya!"suara lantang Propanol memanggil adik-adiknya. "iya kak" sahut kedua adiknya dari lantai atas. Seketika mereka berdua datang dan langsung membantu kakaknya itu mengangkat ayahnya kekamar tidur. "Kakak,ayah mabuk lagi ya semalam?" dengan nada sedih Pentanol bertanya pada kakakya itu yang tampak juga berlinang air mata."sepertinya iya dik". "kapan ya kak ,ayah kita bisa berubah,tidak mabuk-mabukan lagi,coba ibu sekarang masih ada pasti ayah tak akan seperti ini" tambah Butanol.
Ibu mereka memang sudah lama meninggal sejak lima tahun yang lalu. Sejak saat itulah kehidupan keluarga mereka berubah drastis dan ayah kini tak bekerja lagi hanya mabuk-mabukan saja kerjanya. Melihat kondisi ayahnya yang tak kunjung membaik sejak hari itu,kelima anaknya,Metanol,Etanol,Propanol,Butanol,dan Pentanol berinisiatif menbawa ayah kerumah sakit."Ayah,ayo kita kerumah sakit,kita periksakan kedokter agar ayah cepat sembuh" ajak anaknya."ayah tak apa-apa,lihat ayah sehat-sehat aja kok,gak usah khawatir","ayah gimana,liat badan ayah kurus sekali,ayolah kerumah sakit!". Setelah dibujuk kelima anaknya itu,akhirnya Alkohol mau diperiksakan kesehatannya ke dokter. "ayah kalian tidak apa-apa,hanya ia banyak pikiran saja. Jikalau bolei tahu kenapa ayah kalian bisa begini?"."ya dok,ayah bisa begini karena ditinggal wafat ibu"."ehm,kalau begitu buat ayah kalian senang agar tak terlalu bersedih seperti ini"."iya dok ,akan kami coba"
Setelah ayahnya siuman,ayah meminta kelima anaknya itu juga diperiksa oleh sang dokter. Karena sejak istrinya meninggal,ia tak pernah lagi memperhatikan kesehatan anaknya. Keesokan harinya dokter memberikan hasil

one day,in an arabian city, a woman went to the market and bought a beautiful hen.
